Sydney holds two Fireworks displays on the Harbour, first at 9:00pm and the main event at Midnight. Please consider the level of traffic and taxi availability prior to making your booking

Fish at The Rocks has early or late sittings for New Years Eve:

First Sitting: 6pm to 6:30pm bookings for the 9:00pm fireworks

Second Sitting: 8:30 to 9:00pm onward bookings for the Midnight fireworks

Bookings: Please call 9252 4614 to make a booking, or if emailing from overseas, please see "Deposits" below

Deposits: Please note: a $50 deposit will be required to book for New Years Eve as we have had many "no shows" over the years. The deposit will be refundable up to 28 Dec 2011

A selection of canapés to share on arrival  

Entree - Choice of

Prawn, avocado, apple and rocket salad with saffron mayonnaise

Salt and pepper calamari in tapioca flour with lime and sweet chilli dipping sauce

Mixed half a dozen Sydney rock oysters, czarina, natural, kilpatrick or any combination of these

Tortellini of ocean trout and prawns, warm tomato, basil, olive oil dressing

Green leaf salad, lemon olive oil dressing

Mains - Choice of

Atlantic salmon fillet grilled on a bed of sushi rice, with tempura vegetables, sweet soy, ginger, honey glaze

Barramundi fillet grilled in Japanese breadcrumbs, with a roma tomato, caper, basil and fetta salad, balsamic vinegar glaze

Whiting fillets in beer batter with house chips, lemon and tartare sauce

Eye fillet steak with béarnaise sauce, hand cut potato chips

Desserts - Choice of

Trio of sorbets, chocolate, raspberry, coconut

Passionfruit crème brulee served with cats tongue biscuit

Macadamia and date pudding served with crème anglaise and vanilla ice cream
